Creating bookings for drivers and vehicles the old-fashioned way has always been complicated and difficult to manage. With Kimoby Go, creating bookings is easy and entirely centralized in one place. In the Bookings section, you can create new bookings, view and manage all of your existing bookings, and even process payments for your bookings.

Creating a New Booking

Start here to reserve a loaner vehicle for your customer’s service appointment. Follow the steps below to quickly reserve a loaner vehicle for your customer.

To create a new Loaner booking:

  1. Click on the Kimoby Go tab.
  2. Click on the Bookings sub-tab (selected by default).
  3. Click on Create Booking.
  4.  Under From and To, select the date and time the booking will begin and end, respectively. 
    • Click the calendar icon to adjust the date and the clock icon to adjust the time.
    • Select the From now box if you want the booking to begin immediately.
    • Select the No return date box if you do not know the return date.
  5. Under Pools, select the pool from which you want to assign a vehicle. Click here for more information about Vehicle Pools. A pool is considered in Conflict if there are no vehicles available from that pool during the timeframe you selected for this booking.
  6. Alternatively, under Vehicles, you can select a specific vehicle to assign to this booking instead of a Pool. A vehicle is considered in Conflict it is not available during the timeframe you selected for this booking.
  7. Click Next.
  8. Under Information, select the service advisor assigned to this booking and enter the repair order number associated with it.
  9. Under Customer/Main Driver, select the customer that will be the main driver of the loaner vehicle.
  10. Enter their driver’s license and insurance information.
  11. (Optional) Click on Add a driver to add other drivers to the vehicle. Enter their driver’s license information as well. Note that the main driver will be liable for any damages on the vehicle.
  12. Under Credit Card, add the customer’s credit card or select No credit card.
  13. Click Create Booking.

Managing a Booking

Plans change, we get it! Update the Loaner vehicle booking by following these steps to update the date and time, as well as various other details of your bookings.

Starting a Booking

Before your customer leaves with your loaner vehicle, follow these steps to make sure your vehicle and customer are ready to go! Completing this step will check your customer out with the loaner vehicle.  


Ending a Booking

When your customer returns the loaner vehicle and the inspection is complete, follow the below steps to end their booking. You can invoice your customer at this point if need be.
