Inspections
The Inspections section of the Repair Orders tab is your centralized hub for Multi-Point Inspections (MPIs) conducted through Kimoby. It brings all inspections together into a single view for quick and easy access.
Overview
Here is an overview of the layout of the Inspections page:
- State: Displays the status of the inspection. Possible statuses are:
- Not Started: The inspection has been created but not started yet.
- In Progress: The inspection has been started.
- Completed: The inspection has been filled out and completed.
: This symbol refers to whether or not the MPI has been sent to the customer.
: The MPI has been sent to the customer.
: The MPI has not been sent to the customer.
- Repair Order #: Displays the Repair Order number associated with the inspection.
- Template: Indicates which template was used to conduct the inspection.
- Customer: Indicates which customer the inspection is for. This information is connected to the Repair Order.
- Views: Shows how many times the inspection link sent to the customer was opened.
- Created: Displays the date the inspection was created.
- Created by: Displays which user created the inspection.
- Walk-around Video: Indicates whether or not the inspection includes a walkaround video.
- Completed Results: Displays the results of the inspection, indicating how many inspection elements were Checked OK

Viewing and Editing an Inspection
You can view any MPI inspection in full detail by simply opening it directly from the Inspections page, where all associated information and records are readily accessible.
To view an inspection:
- Click the Repair Orders tab.
- Click the Inspections sub-tab.
- Search for an inspection using the search bar or any of the filters.
- Click on the inspection you want to view.
- Click Create estimate to to create an estimate using the inspection to help create jobs for the estimate.
- Click Send to customer to send the inspection report to the customer via text.
From here, you can also edit or delete the inspection.
To edit the inspection:
- Click the pencil icon
at the top-right corner of the inspection. - Edit the inspection as needed. Click here for more information about filling out an inspection form.
- When finished, click Complete MPI at the bottom-right.
To delete the inspection:
- Click the trash can icon at the top-right corner of the inspection.
- Click Delete.
