Setting Up the Mobile App

The Kimoby app allows you to manage your customer experience from wherever you are. All you need is an internet connection, and you are good to go!

Please make sure that you upgrade your app whenever there's a newer version. Updates are important to make sure you are using the latest features and security improvements.

Downloading the Kimoby App

The app is free and available on the App Store and Google Play.

App Store

  1. Go to the App Store on your Phone. 
  2. Search for Kimoby
  3. Click on Get or the cloud to download the app. 
  4. You can open the app from there or from your home screen and log in to your account.

Google Play

  1. Go to Google Play on your phone.
  2. Search for Kimoby.
  3. Click on Install to download the app.
  4. You can open the app from there or from your home screen and log in to your account.

Allowing Notifications on Your Mobile Phone

We suggest allowing the app to send notifications to your mobile phone so that you never miss a message from a customer. When turned on, you will see notifications from your lock screen.

Apple

  1. Select Settings.
  2. Select Notifications.
  3. Select Kimoby.
  4. Allow notifications and choose how you wish to be notified.

Google

  1. Select Settings.
  2. Select Notifications.
  3. Select App & notifications.
  4. Select Kimoby.
  5. Allow notifications.

Allowing Photo Access

To send images and videos from your phone to your customers, you need to allow photo access to Kimoby. If you are not able to access your photos from your phone and you see a red alert message saying Unable to select image at the top of your screen, you need to enable access.

Note

Live photos (only available on iPhone) can't be sent from the mobile app.

Apple

  1. Go to your phone settings.
  2. Select Kimoby.
  3. Enable camera access.

Google

  1. Go to your settings.
  2. Search for your app's permissions.
  3. Select Camera.
  4. Select Kimoby.

Minimum Device Requirements

The minimum device requirements to install the mobile app are:

  • Android: Your Android device must be running Android 5.0 or later.
  • Apple: Your Apple device must be running iOS 11.0 or later.
