Navigating In a Customer Profile

It's easy to access your customer's profiles to view their personal information. All you need to do is select a customer's name to access the data in the Customers section. You can filter customers by choosing different statuses, such as with or without cell phones, or unsubscribed customers.

Overview of Customer Information

On the left-hand side, you will find all of your customer's contact information. You can edit their information directly from this interface. You can also write new message, unsubscribe customers, or schedule an appointment from here.

Finding a Customer Profile

You can search for a customer profile by using the search bar at the top of the app. Just type in any attribute that can be found on their profile, although their name or cell phone number is the easiest way to find them. You can input up to 10 characters in the search bar or an exact match. 

Alternatively, you can search for a customer profile by using the search bar directly in the Customers tab. However, here you can only find customers by typing in their name or cell phone number.

Editing a Customer Profile

  1. Select the Customers Sleep-Aug-16-2021-05-35-13-90-PM tab on the left side of your screen.
  2. Select the customer's name.
  3. Select the Edit  Edit icon above the customer's name.
  4. Edit or add any information or attribute.
  5. Select Save profile at the top right corner of your screen.

Manually Unsubscribing a Customer

From your desktop:

  1. Search for your customer using the search bar.
  2. Select your customer.
  3. Select Manage Subscriptions.
  4. In Manage subscriptions, the modal box indicates what type of message your customer is subscribed to: All, General Messages or Marketing Messages. Uncheck the box to unsubscribe your customer.
  5. Select Save changes when finished.

From your mobile:

  1. Select More at the bottom of your screen.
  2. Select Contacts .
  3. Select your customer's name.
  4. Select the three dotsat the top right corner of your screen.
  5. Select Manage Subscriptions.
  6. In Manage subscriptions, the modal box indicates what type of message your customer is subscribed to: All, General Messages or Marketing Messages. Uncheck the box to unsubscribe your customer.
  7. Select Save changes when finished.

Starting a New Conversation

You can start a new conversation with your customer directly in their profile. You can attach any type of file in a message, such as pictures, images, PDF files, etc.

From your desktop:

  1. Select the Customers Sleep-Aug-16-2021-05-35-13-90-PM tab on the left side of your screen.
  2. Enter your customer's name or phone number in the search bar on the left side of your screen.
  3. Select the customer's name to open their profile.
  4. Select New message under the customer's name.
  5. Type your message in the message box or insert a saved reply. You can add custom attributes and emojis to your message.
  6. Select Send.

From your mobile:

  1. Select More at the bottom of your screen.
  2. Select Contacts .
  3. Select the magnifying glass Sleep-Oct-06-2021-08-38-45-91-PM icon and enter your customer's name or phone number in Search for a customer.
  4. Select New message.
  5. Write your message in Write message here... or insert a saved reply.
  6. Select the paper plane plane icon to send your message.

Scheduling a New Appointment

  1. Select Customers Sleep-Aug-16-2021-05-35-13-90-PM on the left side of your screen.
  2. Select the customer's name.
  3. Select New appointment under your customer's name.
  4. Choose the date, time, and duration of the appointment. 
  5. If needed, select the Attributes tab next to the Information tab.
  6. Enter any specific details the customer may have told you when booking their appointment.
  7. Select Create appointment.

Overview of Other Sections

The Customers interface allows you to access the information you need to communicate effectively with your client. From this area, you can view: 

  • All activities: An overview of all activities that relate to your customers.
  • Conversations: All the conversations you've had, including opened, closed, and ongoing ones (with you or other users).
  • Appointments: You customer's appointments and their status.
  • Events: The events that belong to the customer, including repair orders.
  • Invoices: If your customers are using Kimoby Pay, you can view their invoices here.
  • Notes: Displays all notes written about the customers, and you can also add more notes.
  • Estimates: Any current or previous estimates for this customer.
  • Reviews: Shows all the reviews left by the customers, the source, the rating and the comments.
