Text Customers for the Tire Season

This tire season, avoid bottlenecks in your operations by inviting customers to book their appointments early. By sending your customers text reminders, you'll also boost the likelihood that they make an appointment at your service center.

Before creating your Tire Swap Season Campaign, you'll need to create three different customer groups. Click on the Group Sleep (42) tab on the left side of your screen.

First of all, you'll need a group to include all customers that had their last repair closed less than two years ago (730 days) to respect the CASL and TCPA.

  1. Click on New Group. Choose the name of your new group (for example, Spring Tire Swap)
  2. Click on Create.
  3. You will need to add customers to your group through rules. Click on Edit rules Sleep (95) above the name of your group on the left of your screen.
  4. Now, select the following: 
    • Category: Repair order closed
    • Attribute: Last time
    • Operator: Less than
    • Value: 730 days
  5. Click on Save changes.

Next, you'll need a group to include all customers who already came in for their tire swap.

  1. Create a New Group (for example, Swap Already Done)
  2. Click on Edit rules Sleep (95) above the name of your group on the left of your screen.
  3. Now, select the following: 
    • Category: Repair order closed
    • Attribute: Happened at
    • Operator: Less than
    • Value: 45 days ago
  4. Click on Add new rule and select:
    • Category: Repair order closed
    • Attribute: Op code array
    • Operator: Contains any of
    • Items: Enter your SWAP opcode
  5. Click on Save changes.

Last but not least, you'll need a group that includes customers who already have an appointment.

  1. Create a New Group (for example. Appointment Taken)
  2. Click on Edit rules Sleep (95) above the name of your group on the left of your screen.
  3. Now, select the following:
    • Category: Appointment
    • Attribute: Next one
    • Operator:  In less than
    • Value: 60 days
  4. Click on Add new rule and select: 
    • Category: Appointment
    • Attribute: Op code array
    • Operator: Contains any of
    • Items: Enter your SWAP opcode
  5. Click on Save changes.

Now you can go ahead and create your Tire Swap Season Campaign by following the step-by-step instructions here.

First, target your Spring Tire Swap group and exclude your Swap Already Done and Appointment Taken groups.

Here are examples of messages you can use: 

  • Hello { customer.name }, It’s already time to get your seasonal tires changed! Reply TIRE to book an appointment or call us at { company. phone_number }. We look forward to seeing you!
  • Spring is here, which means sunny days and time to swap out those winter tires! I would be happy to help you book an appointment to change your tires at { company.name }. Text ''SUN'' to book now!
