Kimoby seamlessly integrates with your Hunter equipment to enable you to automatically send inspection reports to your customers about their vehicles—all through text message.

Adding the Hunter Integration to Your Kimoby Account

To add the Hunter integration to your Kimoby account, contact our support team via email support@kimoby.com or phone at +1 877 248 0204 Monday to Friday 9AM to 5PM EST.

To connect your Hunter equipment with Kimoby, contact your Hunter representative. To find and contact your local Hunter team go to Hunter's website.

Creating the Hunter Automation

To automatically send the wheel alignment inspection report to your customers during service, create a new automation in Kimoby.

  1. Go to the Automations Sleep-Jul-28-2021-02-11-32-44-PM section on the left side of your screen.
  2. Select New automation.  

Choose name

  1. Give your automation a name, for example, Hunter inspection report.
  2. Select After an event.
  3. Click Next. 

Assign replies

  1. Select the user who will receive the automation replies.
  2. You can also alert specific users by sending them notifications.
  3. Select Next

Target customers

In Target Customers, add the following 2 rules: 

Rule 1 : 

  • Category : Hunter Inspection 
  • Attribute : Inspection report url 
  • Operator : Has any value 
  • Select Add new rule

Rule 2 : 

  • Category : Hunter inspection
  • Attribute : Happened at 
  • Operator : Exactly 
  • Value : 0 
  • Select Next.

Create message

  1. Write the message you want to send with your automation. Make sure you add the following custom attribute: { event.meta_inspection_report_url }. This attribute will attach the Hunter report to your message. See the end of this section for a few examples you can cut and paste.
  2. You will see a preview of your message, and you can send a test to the phone number of your choice by selecting the Send test message to... box.
  3. Enter a valid cell phone number.
  4. Select Test now.
  5. In the inbox of the designated phone, you'll see the test message.
  6. Select Next.

Set delivery time 

  1. Select Send in real time so that every time a customer matches your rules, they will receive your message.
  2. Set a timeframe to your message. We recommend staying within your business hours.
  3. Select Create.

Message template examples

Warning

Do not change any of the words in { curly brackets } as they will be replaced with your customer and company information.

Here are a few examples of messages that you can send to your customers. Simply copy and paste the desired message in your conversation.
