How Customers will Receive a File, Image or Link on Their Phone

When you send a link to a customer in a text message, they won't see a preview of the website. This is because to see previews, the customer needs to have your phone number saved in their phone contacts; otherwise, the link will only display as an URL.

Files and images sent in conversations that are too heavy will be sent as links. 

An Internet connection will be required to open these links.

Here are the steps your customers need to follow to open a file or image sent to their cell phone.

  • Open your text messages on your phone.
  • Click on the conversation.
  • Click on Tap to load preview.
  • Click on the link in your conversation. You will be redirected to an Internet page containing the file or image that was sent to you.

  • Go to your text messages on your phone.
  • Click on the conversation.
  • Click on the picture if you want to save it or see it more closely.
