Sending a Payment Request

After setting up your Kimoby Pay account and getting approval, you can immediately start sending invoices to your customers. 

You can send payment requests from two different sections.

From a new message

  1. Click on New message, at the top left corner of your screen. 
  2. Search for a customer by name or phone number in the first blank field.
  3. Click on Payment.
  4. Enter the amount and reference number. Both are required in order to send a payment request.
  5. Type your message in the message box or click on the Saved Replies icon to use an existing message. Here are a few examples of payment request messages that you may use.  
  6. Click on Send.

  1. Click on the green icon with a +, at the bottom of your screen to send a new message.
  2. Search for a customer by name or phone number allows you to search for your customers.
  3. Click on the payment icon at the bottom of your screen.
  4. Enter the amount and reference number. Both are required in order to send a payment request. 
  5. Click on Add payment
  6. Type your message in the message box or click on the Saved Replies icon to use an existing message. Here are a few examples of payment request messages that you may use.
  7. Click on Send.

In your customer's conversation, you will see the secure link of the payment request that was sent to your customer. Once the payment is complete, you and your customer will both be able to download the receipt. Here's a quick video to see how your customers can pay for their invoices with Kimoby Pay.

From an existing conversation

  • Click on the customer's conversation. 
  • Click on Payment.
  • Enter the amount and reference number. Both are required in order to send a payment request.
  • Type your message in the message box or click on the Saved Replies icon to use an existing message. Here are a few examples of payment request messages that you may use.  
  • Click on Send.

  • Click on the customer's conversation.
